When will people learn that social media just isn’t the place to share your ignorant views, regardless of the 1st Amendment, especially if you are “prominent” in society? X-Men producer John Palermo clearly had no f—s to give when he posted some questionable thoughts on his Facebook timeline.
The first side- eye comes with his response to Julie Chen’s admitted eye lid surgery, which was suggested to her to make her appear “less Asian”, thus more appealing to the American masses :
“I’m crazy about Julie Chen!!! Now that her eyes are finally open, she should leave Monster Moonves.”
Later on, his brain exploded at the news that Kanye West ad Kim Kardashian moved into a Bel-Air home together:
“There goes the neighborhood!!! It looks like a Poor Persian Palace, where’s Kris Jenner when you need her?! #MoneyCantBuyADumbNiggaClass.”
And if you think John wouldn’t finish everything off with the perfect trinity of verbal vomit, he let it all hang out with his attack on openly gay CNN reporter Anderson Cooper, in response to Anderson showing up at the opening of his boyfriend’s gay bar. Are you ready for it?
Of course, cowards are going to be cowards, so his Facebook page is now deactivated and he’s put a new spin on what he said, claiming that his comments were some sort of anti- racist, reverse psychology experiment …. you know stuff people say when they get called out for their ignorance.
“Maybe people [who take offense] will look in the mirror and say, ‘When was the last time I called Les Moonves and asked for an African-American to play opposite me?’”
He then continued with an explanation of his present mindset:
“I stopped caring about what Hollywood thinks of me years ago. I’ve got nothing to lose, nothing to gain. I’m a bored dude, unemployed, sitting at home in the Valley. For me, some of the best ways to overcome serious issues is to laugh about them. Because then you truly understand where that ignorance is coming from.”
Bored? Find a hobby, volunteer to help the needy or go to the gym, but don’t post comments like this period, unless you want to stay unemployed.
Will you still support John Palermo? Let us know in the comments!
